Aquarium Decorations----Creating Homes For FishesSubmitted By: Tomy

Aquarium decorations are not only beautiful to look at they also have an
important purpose. They provide fishes with homes---- hiding places and natural
borders resembling their natural habitat. There are many different types of
decorations, for instance Cave dwelling fishes love aquarium decorations that
structure like caves, holes and crevices. Whereas Fishes that live in dense
vegetation prefer plants and other types of tiny hiding places. Decorations are
crucial for a happy and healthy aquarium they also keep fishes from getting
bored.
Tanks: There are many variants of tanks big, small, quadrilateral or polygonal.
The size of an aquarium should be according to the size and the number of fishs
you plan to keep. Also tanks come in a variety of tinted glasses.
Plants: They are the the most beautiful, inexpensive source of decoration for
your aquariums. Fishes love the aquatic plants as they are part of their natural
habitats. They come in all varieties, costing anywhere from a few bucks to
hundreds. Plants are very useful as well; they bind carbon dioxide and oxygenate
the water. They also use organic waste products as nutrition and remove
potentially harmful compounds from the water. Plants can also be used to keep a
check on the water quality of an aquarium; the plant will start dieing before
the fish if the water suddenly becomes toxic.
Wood, Rock and Coral: An aquarium can be like a miniature true habitat for the
fishes with these decorations. Drift wood and mangroves can create a beautiful
effect in the aquarium, plus some fishes particularly thrive on Drift wood. But
be careful as Drift wood might lower pH levels and the hardness of the water. So
it is best used in aquariums with soft slightly acid water. Stones and rocks
make excellent decorations. But again caution is needed; you should never use
rocks that affect your water?s pH levels or stones that might contain toxins.
There are also fake rocks that resemble real rocks, but these are pretty
expensive. Rocks can be used to create caves which many fishes are passionate
about. Coral are a beautiful addition to marine aquariums; in fact they may
prove necessary for a healthy marine habitat. But can be dangerous to fresh
water aquarium and should not be used as they be harmful.
Gravel or sand: Both are great both come in a variety of color. Gravel comes in
white, brown and black, or blue, red, green, yellow the whole rainbow spectrum.
Sand again also has a plethora of colors white, black, blue, yellow, red, green.
Both of these can be layered in multiple colors.
Glass marbles, Ceramics, Plastic: Ok all are unnatural materials and might look
slightly tacky, but fishes don?t give a fig for this, they enjoy them
enormously. Glass marbles though are not a good bottom substrate out of a
biologically as flora does not thrive on them, can add beautiful colors to the
aquarium. It?s best to use them sparingly or add another more functional
substrate below. Ceramics are excellent aquarium decorations. All sizes and
shapes can be used as long as they do not have sharp edges. However ceramics
tend to grow algae that might be hard to. Plastic they are cheap, colorful and
yes tacky, but can be found in a variety of fun shapes. Treasure chests, skulls,
divers, pirates, plants and ships you name it and stores have them.
It is imperative that you only use aquarium decorations that are safe to use in
aquariums. If you have salt water aquariums they should be saltwater-safe also.
If you don?t take this precaution your fish will die due to the organisms and
toxins released by the decorations
Decorations have both practical and aesthetical use if done tastefully and
carefully you can create a miniature aquatic ecosystem that both you and your
fish can enjoy.

- Diamonds have gone through the fire and the pressure. Diamonds
have no choice they can only get stronger and stronger now! Do you have what it
takes to be a Diamond? The same stuff that coal and
your pencil lead is made of (carbon) is the same stuff diamonds are made of, the
atoms are just arranged in a way that make the bonds very strong in diamonds as
compared to coal. Diamonds come from the same place as coal. But their
formulation is just different. A Lot of Fortitude to Make Diamond The bonds are
formed when carbon is at very high temperatures and under very high pressures.
Natural diamonds are made deep down in the earth, about 180km below the surface,
where high temperatures and pressures exist naturally. Under the earths crust is
the mantel, which is made up of molten rock, metals and other materials. The
temperature is very high at this depth - between 1100oC and 1400oC. The high
pressures are produced by the weight of 180 km of rocks pressing down on it.
Besides carbon, there are very small amounts of other substances, such as
nitrogen and sulfur that can become trapped in the crystal when it is formed in
the mantel. These impurities can give color to the diamond. One of the rarest is
Pink Diamonds. The engagement ring that Ben Afleck gave to Jennifer Lopez is a
pink diamond, making the ring worth $3 million dollars. As with the precious
stone (Diamond) it takes time, temperature and a lot of pressure to form a
person into a Diamond. And how rare indeed is a Pink Diamond! Those people who
would be Diamond?s are the ones that hang in there through the touch times. They
don?t know the word Quit or Never! How would you like to be worth $3 million
dollars? Ever heard the phase just an ?old lump of coal?? Read On! Where does
the carbon come from to make Diamonds? Most diamonds are made of carbon that was
in the mantle since the earth was formed, but some are made of carbon from the
bodies and shells of microorganisms like algae in ancient oceans. This organic
carbon was buried in rocks that were dragged down into the mantle because of
plate tectonics and continental drift. All living things on earth are based on
carbon. If you or I were to somehow fall into an ocean trench at the edge of a
tectonic plate where rocks are being dragged underneath a continent, we might
reappear millions of years later as diamonds! Everyone that comes into this
business (Network Marketing) starts out the same. We are all just ?A lump of
Coal?. Some are transformed into a beautiful Diamond and even fewer become a
Pink Diamond! But the saddest thing to me is those who never transform because
they quit just short and they remain just an ?old lump of coal?. Where does the
person come from to make ?Diamond?? One person at a time till there is enough!
Allow yourself to be dragged underneath your continent! For anyone to succeed in
any business, I do not care what kind of business you are talking about; there
is a transformation that must take place. Everyone who has succeeded in business
has gone through a fire and been dragged under their continent. The Diamonds are
those people that have hung it in, never relenting, but pressing on through the
struggles and trials to get to the ?glory land?. Keep On Keeping On and You Will
Receive the Reward! Each and every person reading this right now has what it
takes to make it in their on home-based business. We all start out as just an
old lump of coal. But those that have the fortitude to learn and grow ? study
and apply ? read books and listen to tapes (motivational) have what it takes to
be independently wealthy and healthy. ?You Were Born With the Seeds of
Greatness? Zig Ziglar! Building your own business takes a lot of fortitude just
like the fortitude it takes to make Diamonds. Have you ever wondered why the top
positions in Network Marketing are called Diamonds? Could it have to do with the
fact that those people that make it to the top in Network Marketing have
developed much the same as this special rock called diamonds? You see it takes
a special person that is willing to make changes and go through a real
metamorphosis. All of us have developed habits over the years that keep us from
obtaining the kind of success that is needed to be our own boss and to work our
own home-based business. Just like that rock made into a Diamond we to must be
fortified! A friend of mine once said, ?We have to develop the hind of a
rhinoceros. ? We must learn to not allow anything or anyone to penetrate us.
Negative Garbage In ? Negative Garbage Out! Always remember that you may start
out as an ?old lump of coal? but you can eventually become a Diamond and quite
possibly you could be one of those rare Pink Diamonds! Work on yourself and make
the necessary changes in your life that you need to make because You my friend
have what it takes to work for yourself. It does not matter what anyone tells
you whether they be friend or employer. You Can Be Successful In Your Own
Home-Based Business ? Just Give Yourself Time To Develop (Fortification)!!
