[^_^] Organic Gardening Benefits Our Health and The Planet

Organic Gardening Benefits Our Health & The PlanetSubmitted
By: Deborah Carraro

Did you know that interest in gardening is increasing at a rapid
rate? The increase is due to the under 35 set who is said to have a greater
interest in the environment and going green. The primary field of gardening
interest of Generation Y is organic gardening. There has been a lot written
about organic gardening in the mainstream media and it has become a very popular
topic with many people around the world, not just youth. With so many more
health and environmentally conscious people around today, organic gardening has
become quite popular. With its explosive growth in the past decade, organic
gardening has gained acceptance in mainstream society. No longer the realm of
hippies and health fanatics, organic produce is now consumed by the general
public and readily available in large chain grocery stores. Organic produce has
become a featured item at many large-chain grocery stores so it is no wonder
people want to know more about organic gardening. Some would even grow their own
organic produce if they only knew how or had the time or had the space for it.
But do we really know what organic gardening is. My definition might differ from
yours, but to me, organic gardening means raising vegetables, flowers and plants
without harmful artificial chemical herbicides, pesticides and fertilizers. I
don't think it is possible to be one hundred percent organic and I certainly
don't think the average hobby gardener should worry about meeting whatever the
commercial gardening standards are in their particular area. But I do truly
believe that people can enjoy a healthier life by including more organic
gardening in their lives and more organic produce on their tables. So how do we
go about creating an organic gardening project that will actually result in
healthy harvests of pure healthy foods? How do we nurture a sick planet back to
health and assure a brighter future for ourselves and for future generations to
come? Well, one way is to stop using so many chemical poisons in general and in
our food in particular. It has been said that our food can contain up to 450
different added unnecessary and even dangerous chemicals. By simply removing
artificial chemicals from the gardening equation, we can improve our health. We
can be successful at organic gardening without the use of chemicals through
building the soil and mimicking nature's ways to do the rest. This doesn't mean
that we don't adapt them, but in general, if we follow nature's lead and use the
wisdom that the environment has accumulated over the course of Earth's history,
we can be very successful in our organic gardening efforts. Nature is diverse
and resilient. It will always fight back to reclaim its rightful place in our
ecosystem. Our agriculture will be so much more robust with organic gardening.
Poly-culture and lack of pesticides, herbicides and chemical fertilizers make
organic gardening the only sane choice for our own health and the health of the
planet. Try organic gardening today. About the

[^_^] How Do You Want Your Sirloin ? Grain Fed, Organic Or Cloned?

How Do You Want Your Sirloin ? Grain Fed, Organic Or
Cloned?Submitted By: Tom Phelps

When the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
announced in early 2008 that cloned animals and their offspring were acceptable
as consumable food products the resulting firestorm of debate was nothing if not
loud. From a practical standpoint proponents of cloning needed this ruling to
add legitimacy to their work. If the cattle and pigs, which have been cloned,
can be claimed as safe by the FDA then cloning experimentation can continue with
the potential of grant monies from Universities and foundations. What you may
not know is that a fish and a tadpole were reported as clones in the 1950s and
1960s. However, cloning opponents are quick to recall the highly publicized
first cloned animal, a sheep named Dolly. This animal was cloned in Scotland.
This particular animal only lived to be six years old while the typical age for
a Finn Dorset sheep is generally 12-15. The primary argument in this case was
whether conditions for Dolly?s care contributed to the disease that claimed her
life or if because she was a clone from an animal that was roughly six years of
age Dolly?s body was essentially six years old at birth. These and similar
concerns are part of the complex nature of the cloning argument. In fact, the
argument isn?t simply with the acceptability of meat and other products from
cloned animals, but with human life. There are some individuals who are apposed
to any kind of cloning while others may object to human cloning while finding
therapeutic cloning acceptable. In therapeutic cloning an individual's stem
cells are cloned and the additional cells can be used on that same patient for
therapies that may provide better health. In this case the cloning is derived
from one person for the benefit of the exact same person. In human cloning there
are further divisions. There are those who perceive human cloning as a potential
means of having children in the event of infertility while others view a cloned
embryo as a potential means of harvesting embryonic stem cells for use in
medical experimentation thus eliminating the potential for the embryo to
experience life. Those who have cloned embryos for medical research view this
process as a means of eradicating a multitude of diseases from the human
experience. Because cloning is still relatively new there are some grave
concerns over attempting to clone a human being. The concerns stem from the
multiple experiments that went wrong previous to the success of cloned animals.
Is it possible that this type of experimentation could result in even one
mutated experiment that develops a life that has some ability to function but is
a life form different than what we typically think of as human? What do we do
with failed human cloning experiments? Are they taken care of or euthanized? If
this sounds like something out of a science fiction novel I suppose it is.
Jurassic Park was developed around the idea of cloning extinct life and other
novels have presented dooms day scenarios for cloning. Religious leaders
disagree about the acceptability of cloning and the role of cloning in our
culture remains on that will be contested with each new experiment.

[^_^] Enjoying Organic Essential Oils

Enjoying Organic Essential OilsSubmitted By: Alyssa Nair

Organic essential oils taken from organically grown plants and are a pure,
unadulterated, therapeutic grade oil that is also excellent for the environment
because when farmers practice growing these oils the organic way it prohibit the
use or chemicals, fertilizers and pesticides that leave damaging deposits in the
soil, air and water supply. The organic essential oils are mainly used in
aromatherapy, bath salts and similar products. Many organic essential oils are
designed for ?over-the-counter? sale in retail shops which you can purchase them
at places like health-food stores, healing centers, spas, pharmacies and drug
stores. Some of my favorite organic essential oils are lavender, rosewood,
peppermint and lemon, which can be used through an inhalator, topically on your
skin or put into baths for better relaxation on a stressful day. Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy with essential oils can be very effective for both the mind and
body. Many aromatherapy oils help you relax plus allow you to balance your
emotions and helps you in creating a more positive atmosphere and attitude
towards life. It can help in reducing the emotional issues that many people
experience with weight gain and certain scents have been shown to help curb your
appetite. Aromatherapy can help reduce stress, give you more energy, and help
alleviate migraine headaches triggers, as well as improve your complexion and
treat skin irritations. Rosewood essential oil has a unique place because the
chemicals constituents up to 95 percent of just one ingredient , which is
linalool and is considered very mild, soothing alcohol, with strong
anti-microbial properties for skin bacteria issues. Lavender Lavender essential
oil is probably the most well known and most used oil. Lavender also has a
profound affect on the mental and emotional state of people and with low doses
acts as a sedative, but higher doses are very stimulating for some people.
Lavender oil can help relieve insect stings or bites and stimulates white blood
cell formation, which strengthens the body?s natural immune system and makes it
effective for preventing flu and colds. Bergamot is also very good, when blended
with tea tree oil and lavender for suppressing the development of cold sores and
shingles or chicken pox. It is also sometimes used for treating headaches mixed
with other oils like lavender and peppermint. Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils
Several essential oils listed below are genuine therapeutic grade essential
oils, grown on organic farms or ethically and sustainably gathered from wild
plants. Therapeutic grade essential oils provide health enhancing benefits via
inhalation and absorption into the skin. Some common uses of therapeutic
quality, organic essential oils are: Diffuse into the air using an aroma lamp or
diffuser, but if you don?t have either of these things you can just use a bowl
of warm water. Most of the essential oils in general are specifically used for
flavoring foods and to help in the perfume industries, but be careful because
these are not considered organic therapeutic oils. Some other therapeutic
properties are basil which helps with calming an upset stomach and also has a
mild anti-spasmodic for muscles, making it great for massages. Eucalyptus is
considered by most aroma therapists to be the best choice for most therapeutic
uses, as it is milder than most and even safe for children to use. Nutmeg
essential oil is another one that is considered spice oils which grows in the
tropics and has a strong spicy fragrance, and its therapeutic properties include
a strong attraction with the digestive system, including a digestive stimulant
for nausea, and to help with the assimilation of food. Rose essential oil is in
my opinion the number one oil for balance, including emotional balance and also
physical balance, but also helps the nervous system and the female reproductive
system. You should only use the finest organic essential oils like peppermint
which is invigorating; lavender used for soothing and calming; lime and orange
being citrus are stimulants for the senses. Pure, Organic Essential Oils are a
remarkable, energizing and health promoting supplements, which provides better
therapeutic healing. About the Author: Alyssa Nair

[^_^] Antics With Semantics: Eight Ways To Put Some Perk In Organic Search

Antics With Semantics: Eight Ways To Put Some Perk In
Organic SearchSubmitted By: Elizabeth Kirwin

Frustrated with your pay-per-click
campaign? Many website owners are feeling stagnated by pay-per-click on small
budgets. They are wondering how to attract the eyes search engines and build
more organic search traffic to their website. Website owners are wondering how
to put some zest into their websites to attract the most organic search website
traffic possible. Following are some basics that will get you on track with an
organic search campaign. 1. The Long Tail of KeywordsAttracting organic search
takes time and committed resources. If done correctly, a well planned and
executed organic search campaign will attract all search engines since they
operate on the same principles. The content, or ?front end? of website must be
keyword optimized in order to attract more organic search traffic. First, a
detailed keyword analysis and discovery for organic search must be executed (see
items 3 & 4) to identify the long tail of keywords that will produce the most
relevant traffic. 2. A Website Rebuild is not necessary to Attract Organic
SearchIt?s not necessary to do a complete rebuild of a website that is working
well. But after keyword analysis for organic search is complete, renaming, or
adding menu items is a great boon to an organic search campaign. So, at least
consider implementing some changes in menu item names, headlines, subheads, and
body text of a website. 3. Keyword AnalysisAnalyze the keywords of your
competitor?s websites. Use software such as Wordtracker, or a website like
Nichebot.com to do further research on specific keywords that generate large
amounts of traffic. Identify popular keyword trends. With this information,
construct a set of keywords taking into consideration a careful analysis of
primary and secondary markets. Determine a long list (30-50 or more) of keywords
that will attract the website audience you desire most. 4. Keyword DiscoveryGain
a thorough overview of the keywords of your target market. Understand that
industry specific terms and jargon are not usually highly searched terms.
Through the use of software identify popular keywords and keyphrases that will
build regular traffic. Through careful, broad ranging keyword and keyphrase
analysis, identify top ten opportunity keywords. Understand that competitors are
already embedding primary market keyphrases into their websites. Give it time.
With keyword research gathered, develop and execute a keyword writing strategy
that will build enough keyword density into a website over time to surpass
competitors? keyword density. 5. Information ArchitectureRevise the information
architecture of a website to reflect keyword research. Incorporate keywords into
website menu items. Consider adding whole new pages to your website based on
keyword research. Incorporate keywords into all website promotion campaign
materials including article Marketing, press releases, blogs and website page
content. Make content development a priority once information architecture of a
website is altered to attract more organic search traffic. 6. Keyword Optimize
Website Page(s) ContentThe key to maximizing the effects of organic search is to
keyword optimize all front end website writing, and do it tastefully, without
annoying the reader or red flagging search engines. A professionally trained
keyword writer is your best option, if you cannot Do It Yourself (DIY). If the
website copy is designed for marketing and sales of a product or service, a
keyword writer with a background in marketing writing is desirable. 7. Press
Release WritingWrite regional, national, and international press releases on a
quarterly basis to keep website content fresh in the eyes of organic search.
Incorporate keywords into press releases and choose a press release distribution
service carefully. Maximize press release distribution by distributing to web,
print, radio and televisions sources. 8. Keyword BloggingBuild or skein a
Wordpress blog onto your website using a qualified website programmer. Create
and deploy four keyword rich blogs per month onto the website to further enhance
the organic search campaign. It?s not Hard to Put some Perk in Organic Search ?
Give it TimeOrganic search traffic increases when an organization commits time
and/or money to a consistent campaign. Build keyword copy and keyword writing
campaigns in over the long term with dedicated monthly budgets or assigned staff
time for this important task. Some websites, especially e-commerce sites, are
immense, with thousands of pages. Keyword optimize pages that are already
popular to enhance popularity, first. Make certain to combine different methods
of keyword optimization for the front end (article writing, press release
writing, blogging, website content development) for maximum effects in organic
search. About the Author: Elizabeth Kirwin is

[^_^] The Chemical Brothers Go Organic

The Chemical Brothers Go OrganicSubmitted By: Colin
Galbraith

The Chemical Brothers are made up of childhood friends Tom
Rowlands and Ed Simons, and are a Grammy Award winning electronic music
sensation. Originally referred to as the The Dust Brothers until a legal threat
from another band of the same name, they changed their name in 1995 after a
successful tour of the U.S. The Chemical Brothers are one of the few bands that
successfully made the transition to arena-sized concerts, and the fact they are
an electronic act makes this feat even more impressive. Along with The Prodigy,
The Chemical Brothers have become known as pioneers of the big-beat electronic
dance genre, and have a reputation unsurpassed for their use of complicated
sound and light effects to produce amazing live gigs. In the studio, they have
been releasing albums since 1995, when they first put out Exit Planet Dust.
Shortly after its release they were snapped up by Virgin Records, under which
they started their own offshoot label, Freestyle Dust. During that year's
Glastonbury Festival, Rowlands and Simons met up with Noel Gallagher from Oasis,
who told them how much he liked their debut album, and that he would like to
sing on a future track. They got together and recorded Setting Sun, the song
being released in October 1996. It gave the duo their first number one single,
and also starting a popular trend they would continue, of working with guest
vocalists. In 1997 the Chemical Brothers released their second album, Dig Your
Own Hole, after recording it at their studio in south London. During that summer
they toured extensively, playing clubs and festivals, particularly in the United
States. In Tokyo, they became residents in the Liquid Rooms. After a break of
almost two years, the Chemical Brothers returned with a new single which
signalled a subtle change in direction. Hey Boy, Hey Girl was immediately a more
commercial record, and as a result went to number 3 in the UK charts and gained
them huge publicity. The third album, Surrender, was released in June 1999,
again featuring the likes of Noel Gallagher on backing vocals. The album reached
number 1 in the UK and received widespread recognition from all sections of the
music press. Memorable gigs at Glastonbury and a UK tour followed. The album
Come With Us was released in 2001, but it was less well received than any of
their previous work. This didn?t prevent it topping the UK charts in its first
week of release however, as they proved their fan base was loyal to the core.
Early in 2003, the Chemical Brothers went back into the studio to work on new
material, including The Golden Path, a collaboration with Wayne Coyne, lead
singer of The Flaming Lips. This came out in September 2003, around the same
time their Singles 93-03 (best of) album was released. The following year, they
were back in the studio to work on their fifth studio album, Push The Button,
again featuring collaborations with Tim Burgess, Kele Okereke and Anwar
Superstar, amongst others. The album was released in January 2005 and saw good
initial sales, but it wasn?t until July 2007 that the Chemical Brothers released
their best-selling sixth album, We Are the Night. To help promote this, the
Chemical Brothers embarked on a hugely sucessful UK tour this December. Their
latest single from the album, The Salmon Dance, is out now. Discography 1995:

[^_^] Organic Vitamin E And Vitality

Organic Vitamin E And VitalitySubmitted By: Vita Man

Vitamin E: What is it? Eight molecules known as tocopherols are the
components that make Vitamin E. The most biologically active amongst them are
Alpha-Tocoperols and these molecules are indeed the most efficient in terms of
the benefits they bring to the body. Our body can absorb it with ease as it is
fat soluble. It is also more stable and does not evaporates even when foods in
which it is found is cooked. The U.S. FAD (Recommended Daily Allowance) for
Vitamin E is set at 8-10 milligrams per day (or about 15 IU) whilst certain
experts advocate an intake of upwards of 1,000 milligrams for daily intake. (Dr
William Shute for example, in The Complete Book of Vitamins recommends 800 to
1600 IU as a way to prevent devastating vascular damage and arterial
degeneration in diabetes. Vitamin E: What is it for? VitaminE is an active
player in the prevention of cell damage that often times can lead to
cardiovascular disease and even cancer. It does so by preventing damaging
effects of free radicals. A new survey from Yale University shows that Low
levels of Vitamin E are thought to be linked with greater physical decline in
older people. Vitamin E and Diabetes: Vitamin E as a treatment for diabetes has
been found in a research lead by Swedish scientists. They recommend a daily
intake of vitamin E of 200 IU spamming 2 weekly periods. The study showed that
vitamin E can help decrease the requirements of insulin in patients suffering
from diabetes. Breast Cancer and Vitamin E: In spite of radical advancements in
various therapies, more women than ever are now being diagnosed with Breast
Cancer. One method considered as a means to reduce the risk of developing this
disease is the intake in proper form of vitamin E. This approach is supported by
a study which shows that women with low levels of vitamin E are twice more
likely to contract the disease than women who take the minimum daily
requirement. The good news is that some of the food we eat is indeed a good
source of vitamin E There two classes of Vitamin E: Tocopherol, the form usually
found in supplementsTocotrienol, found in food. For example palm oil . Foods
rich in Vitamin E are: Oils: vegetable oils such as sunflower, palm oil,
soybean, corn, and of course olive oil. Good sources of vitamin e are margarine,
egg yolk, cheddar, parmesan, soya beans, chickpeas, olives, avocados, parsnips,
carrots, tomatoes, red peppers, sweet corn, sweet potatoes, and watercress.
Other sources can be found in goats milk, fish, whole grains, cereal germ and
wheat, whole grain products, oatmeal, fruits, peanut butter, milk, vegetables and
all whole raw or sprouted seeds. Whilst it is always better to try in provide
your body with the "real thing" it is important to remember that there are
organic nutritional supplements, which are a good source of the vitamin E not
found in your foods. Vitamin E supplements and all Dietary supplements are
measured in international units (IU) . So where does the world "Vitamin come
from" anyway? In 1887, Dr. Eijkman was in Indonesia to conduct research on the
beriberi disease. He realized that there was a difference between the
consumption of refined rice (which lead to more cases of the disease) as opposed
to crudely milled rice (which did not). Years later(1911), Dr. Cacimir referred
to his colleagues findings as "vita amine" to describe the compound that
constitute the rice in its un-refined nature. Over time the two words were
joined as "vitamine" and eventually the trailing "e" was removed.

[^_^] Why Buy Organic - Sustainable Products?

Did you know that roughly 57 percent of all trash winds up in the over 7500 US
landfills yearly according to the US EPA? Do you realize that trash production
has nearly tripled since 1960? We certainly do live in a society that has
adopted a disposable mentality! How many times have you heard somebody say,
"Just go buy a new one?" When what they have could be repaired or
reconditioned. The danger to everyone on planet earth with this disposable
mentality of ours is that all of our landfills emit harmful leachate gases that
can become comingled with our water supply. Many older landfills do not have
liners, leachate collection systems or groundwater monitoring systems. These
dangerous gases are created when weather, humidity and non organic materials
(plastics, phytochemicals) are compressed and aged together.
(www.ejnet.org/rachel/rhwn231.htm) Also landfill land is not easily reclaimable
for other uses due to the overcontamination of pollutants. If we keep needing to
create more landfills for our trash, then soon we will be struggling for good
natural land to build on or use for open spaces. How can you help to change this
dangerous and concerning consumer course? You can purchase organic, sustainable
and renewable consumer goods. Goods made from organic or sustainable materials
are easily recyclable or composted and does not go "toxic" when breaking down. A
good example is 100% organic cotton clothing. It makes good logic that since the
clothing is made from only naturally occurring plants that the cloth will easily
return to the earth in a positive manner. Each stage of this product's life
cycle is sustainable and minimizes negative impact on the earth and
environment. What assurance do you have that a product is "green", "organic" or
"earth friendly"? Luckily there are standards in place and certain labeling that
you can look for. Here is website that explains each type of labeling now

[^_^] Earth Day - Natural Organic Fertilizer Part of the Solution

Earth day is celebrated by more people around the world every year on april
22th. Social awareness that pollution and waste of natural resources by man is
now turning against ourselves. Earth day is a reminder that important actions
have to be taken towards limiting waste of nature?s limited resources such as
pure water, pure air, vegetation and wildlife among others. One important step
in the right direction is accomplished by using natural organic fertilizers.
Chemical fertilizers have been highly used in the past and evidence of their
toxic effects on the environment and mankind are now proven. After all, when
rain washes out the fertilizers, they are returned to earth can absorbed by
human beings. Many studies in the agricultural industry are currently
undergoing to find all natural fertilizers. Natural Science has finally come up
with an all natural organic fertilizer for all u garden-makers and organic
farmers.Earth will greatly benefit from such natural organic fertilizer made
from recycled leather taken from animal hides. These ?ingredients? of the
natural organic fertilizer then undergo a process of sterilization and are
transformed into another form for easy application. This natural organic
fertilizer remains a great choice by its slow-releasing, non-harmful, water
insoluble natural fertilizer.Another natural way of giving back to earth its
essential nutrients is by not picking up grass cuts after mowing the lawn. These
small pieces of grass will then naturally return to earth within 24 to 48 hours
providing the soil back with these precious nutrients.Natural organic fertilizer
raises the organic matter content levels of the soil and aid in its
conditioning. Nitrogen and other nutrients in soil are quickly drained because
of the looseness of the soil granules but by using organic fertilizer that is no
longer a problem to worry about.A lot of farmers are concerned of using
phosphorous-rich fertilizers, especially if their land is located on properties
near lakes and streams. Phosphorous has been known to leak into these vital
water sources and to cause increased aquatic weed growth, resulting in ugly
algae blooms. Many natural fertilizers contain no phosphorous. Natural organic
fertilizer is a great way to fertilize the soil for people living near water
streams.By choosing carefully what is used on people?s lawns, we will be able to
better control how earth is treated. Everyone will benefit from a more aware use
of fertilizing products. By carefully reading the labels and choosing natural
organic fertilizers, man will be able to limit the damages made to the important
balance of earth?s resources. Reading the appropriate books and magazines
focused on environmental issues and participating in forums and websites
dedicated to earth?s well-being, everyone will benefit. By taking care of
mother nature our grandchildren will be able to celebrate earth?s day in 100
years. For more information now go to:

[^_^] Why Buy Organic Cotton Clothes

Have you ever actually felt 100% organic cotton clothes? They are unbelievably
soft. And, just the mere fact of knowing you have done the environment some good
gives you a sense of responsibility. Organic cotton clothes are made from
organic cotton, which is cotton produced, or harvested, without any pesticides,
chemical fertilizers, or genetically modified (GMO) seeds. The way farmers grow
their organic cotton is through traditional, holistic practices, which were
relied upon back in the early days. They first start without using any
pesticides on their crops. This may mean their yields are not as great as with
newer methods, but the payoffs are enormous. They also use a crop rotation in
their field, which helps the need to not use pesticides.Crop rotation is simply
not growing the same crop in a location for two seasons in a row. The farmers
will grow dissimilar crops, which will help to eliminate the pathogens and bugs
that will begin to make their home in their crops. It also allows the nitrogen
to be replenished in the soil, which is done through a green manure crop.Green
manure is something like growing clovers for a season in the field, then just
plowing them into the soil, and then growing your regular crops. There are other
green manure crops as well, such as field beans, clovers, fenugreek, and others.
They are also known as cover crops.GMO is also something of concern. This is a
seed than has been genetically modified to allow round up to be sprayed on it
and not have anything happen to it. While organic farming will not use any
chemical fertilizers or pesticides, you still want the seed as nature intended
for it to be. So, stay clear of GMO seeds, fruits, and vegetables.Organic cotton
clothes are produced in ways as to not destroy the environment. They do not use
pesticides, fertilizers, or GMO seeds, and are all natural products. If you are
looking for another way to help protect and save the environment, then try some
organic cotton clothes.Askleona is your source for Organic Cotton Clothes

[^_^] Organic Cleaning - Why It's Better

What?s harder to do than prepare to clean the house. You have to have rubber
gloves, cleaners, and sometimes, masks in areas of poor ventilation. When
cleaning organically, not only will you not have these problems, but you also
will produce a cleaner and healthier environment. The materials that we use to
clean homes currently are filled with harsh chemicals that do not agree with the
skin. This is proven by the rashes and other skin irritations they can use if
the skin has direct contact with the chemicals. Also, if you are exposed to the
chemicals for too long in an enclosed area, they can be harmful to your health,
as well. Yet, they do a wonderful job of cleaning homes, offices, etc. Some can
take any stain out and others can keep a piece of wood conditioned and shiny for
years. The question is, is the exposure really worth what you get out of it? Is
it really worth it to have a meticulous home if you have to have adverse
reactions to your health? There is an alternative. There has been a recent surge
of organic products from fruits and vegetables to the very products you clean
your home with. These products can produce the same results as those that are
filled with man made chemicals, yet they are much less caustic to those using
them. They have been made out of and are packaged in natural materials. These
cleaning products are packaged in materials that are biodegradable. Therefore,
when finished using the product, the packaging can be recycled or reused. The
cleaning agents themselves are also natural, yet do just as good a job of
cleaning. Their counterparts are, as already discussed, caustic to humans and
their packaging material should be disposed of properly otherwise you run the
risk of letting these caustic materials run into groundwater from the garbage
dumpsite. All around, this is a superior cleaning product. In these days of
wastefulness and concern of our natural resources, conserving where possible is
always a good idea. Using these types of cleaning materials will not only
satisfy you as to their ability to do their job, but will also pay for
themselves over and over again in the fact that nothing about them will go to
waste.Bruce GorsOwner/OperatorBG's Carpet CareCleaning Green Products

[^_^] Organic Ozonated Olive Oil for Relief of Seborrheic Dermatitis

Seborrheic dermatitis is a chronic inflammatory condition of the skin that can
manifest at several stages in life. It is most common in infancy from birth to
three years. At this stage the disease is called cradle cap. The disease is not
contagious in infants and usually disappears within twelve months. Seborrheic
dermatitis at this stage is seldom itchy or irritating, but if scratched, the
skin can become more prone to other infections. There is some evidence that the
condition in infancy is related to hormonal imbalance since most cases disappear
before puberty. The second stage of life where seborrheic dermatitis can occur is
post puberty. The disease manifests as itchy irritable skin with visible flakes.
It mainly is found on the head, face and neck and may be believed to be a bad
case of dandruff. Stress seems to be a factor in the severity of the disease at
this age.The third stage where seborrheic dermatitis becomes prevalent is
between the ages of 30 to 60. Men seem to be more plagued with this disease than
women. At this age the disease can be found on the head or any part of the trunk
of the body. It can vary from a mild rash to very inflamed, itchy scaly skin.
Although some of the causes have been hypothesized there is no known permanent
medical cure for this disease. It is often mistaken for psoriasis. As mentioned,
hormones seem to be a factor, as is stress. The main known reason for an
outbreak of seborrheic dermatitis is an over-excretion by the sebaceous glands
in the skin of the natural oils they produce. This over-excretion gives rise to
the growth of pityrosporum yeast, malassezia fungus and bacteria that invade the
pores of the skin causing inflammation. In areas of the body with higher numbers
of sebaceous glands, the incidence of seborrheic dermatitis is increased. These
areas include the face, temples, back of head, ears, nose folds, armpits chest,
back and groin. The disease at its worst can be painful, unsightly and
irritating but it is not contagious.Conventional medical wisdom tells us that
this condition arises from a lack of cleanliness and that to remedy the problem
requires frequent bathing with salicylic acid, selenium sulfide or coal tar
soaps. For persistent conditions gentle steroid lotions are recommended after
washing the affected area. It is important to not overuse steroids for
dermatitis as the organisms seem to become resistant, requiring stronger
steroids in time.Ozonated oils may provide natural relief for the symptoms of
seborrheic dermatitis. Ozonated oils are common vegetable oils like olive,
sunflower and coconut which have had massive amounts of medical grade ozone or
activated oxygen bubbled through them. This action causes the essential fatty
acids within the oils to turn into ozonides. Ozonides contain active or nascent
oxygen which is known to eliminate yeast, viruses, bacteria, mold and cysts. The
soothing healing power of olive oil is also well known by millions of women
worldwide who use it as a face cr?me. By combining the power of active oxygen
with the healing power of olive oil, an amazing product is born to soothe and
promote healing for even tough skin problems. The ozonides in the ozonated olive
oil eliminate the microorganisms causing the inflammation and the olive oil
soothes and heals the skin.Bacteria and yeast colonize within 24 hours. If
ozonated olive oil is used daily, the microorganisms are greatly reduced and
unable to efficiently colonize, leaving the skin more able to heal and less
inflamed. There are many other factors that may be helpful in controlling this
condition. Medical research has shown a correlation between seborrheic
dermatitis and low values of B complex vitamins. There may also be a
relationship between the condition and a low intake of high quality essential
fatty acids. The body cannot manufacture omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids. They must
be obtained from food sources or supplemented. Conversely, we as a society eat
far too many trans fats and poor quality fatty acids in our daily diet of
supermarket, restaurant and junk foods. Changing the balance between these two
types of fats in the diet may be helpful to control seborrheic
dermatitis.Quality ozonated oil and oxygen therapy products and information:

[^_^] Organic Skin Care: A Modern Spin On An Old Idea

Organic skin care is not as wildly popular as it was a few years ago, but many
people are still very interested in the natural benefits organic skin care has
to offer. For years people who were interested enough in natural ways to help
their skin or make other adjustments to their bodies made their own skin care
items. Oatmeal as a facial, cucumber for refreshing skin and helping circles
beneath the eyes, or lemon to lighten hair. The moment cosmetics companies picked
up on the value of natural elements, more and more natural ingredients went into
skin care and cosmetic products. The sudden increase became in vogue and
everyone began to realize the benefits natural skin care could bring. But did
you know that using ingredients naturally derived ingredients is not a new
idea? What we really have done is to put a new spin on an old idea. Cultures from
the past, such as the Egyptians, have constantly turned to nature for methods of
creating cures and treatments for health and skin conditions. The benefit we
have over ancient cultures is that of science. Scientists have been able to help
prove or disprove the use of certain elements and point out specific properties
that some natural components do have. These properties can include natural
emulsifiers, emollients, antioxidants, humectants, astringents, and anti
irritants.Even better, scientists are able to realize the full potential of many
natural ingredients by combining them with synthesized ingredients. Even the
most organic of products is going to have some synthetic ingredients, but these
are there to help the skin and produce the best results from the organic
ingredients, so they are nothing to be afraid of. This is a good fact to know,
as many people who subscribe to organic skin care are not just concerned about
looking beautiful.Organic skin care is about keeping skin healthy and leading a
healthier life in the world. Keeping yourself naturally beautiful can feel much
more fulfilling than relying solely on synthetics and methods such as chemical
peels. There are various methods used to obtain natural ingredients and add them
into products. Botanical extracts are probably the most popular. Many
ingredients are used for different reasons and many can be tailored to fit
specific skin types.Honey: Honey is known for its antioxidant powers and also
has anti-microbial features. Honey is also used to help skin suffering from sun
damage and helping to rejuvenate tired skin by helping it to absorb and preserve
moisture. For these reasons honey has been added to skin care treatments and
utilized in the skin care world.Shea Butter. What was once a casual ingredient
has now been recognized as a powerful benefit to skin in a multitude of ways.
Shea butter can be found in hundreds of different products from lotion to
scrubs. Pure shea butter that has not been altered in any way can provide help
to people who suffer from eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis. Shea butter also
provides a therapeutic effect, helping to calm both you and your skin.Jojoba.
Jojoba is yet another naturally occurring skin care remedy that acts as a
natural moisturizer and helps to soften unhappy skin. Jojoba oil is also
recommended for people suffering from eczema as a safe and natural way to calm
and moisturize skin.Other ingredients can include: Safflower oil, rose hip oil,
aloe vera, beeswax, tea tree oil, witch hazel, sesame oil, avocado oil, and
chamomile. You may also find extracts of lemon, cucumber, grape seed, green or
black tea, and licorice. Each of these natural ingredients can be mixed with
synthesized ingredients to help unlock their potential and provide their
individual advantageous properties. The next time you are looking for new skin
care products, try looking into organic ways of treating your skin. Past
cultures did not have our advances, so now is the time to make the most of
organic skin care.Keep YOURSELF looking and feeling great with these great Skin

[^_^] How To Read Organic Beauty Product Labels

Congratulations! You have made the decision to start buying organic beauty
products based on their environmental and health benefits. While you may be
excited to begin shopping for natural skin care lines at first; that enthusiasm
can quickly be replaced by confusion and indecisiveness when you see all of the
natural skin care lines. This is due to the fact that natural beauty product
organic labels contain an overwhelming amount of information. In this article, we
will teach you how to read organic beauty product labels.First things first,
just because a skin care product claims to be organic, do not assume that it is.
Organic beauty products are not regulated by the FDA or the USDA, so
manufacturers have a lot of leeway when it comes to advertising. Many less
reputable skin care companies will use the words natural beauty product or
organic, even if the product contains several synthetic ingredients. The best way
to find out if an organic skin care product is truly organic is by checking the
ingredients. You should recognize most (if not all) of the organic beauty
ingredients listed on an organic beauty product. If there are names on your
organic skin care product label that look unfamiliar to you, chances are high
that the ingredients are non organic beauty quality. You also need to be mindful
of certain words that may appear on the organic skin care product packaging. If
the words organic and natural are present, this simply means that the organic
skin care product was made with SOME certified ingredients. It does not
represent a 100% organic product; nor does it represent a chemical free product.
The only phrase than ensures a completely organic product is certified organic
with no synthetic ingredients.Remember, even if you are shopping for specialty
products like acne skin care regimens or anti aging skin care products, the
chances are good that you can find them in an organic line. Just remember to
carefully read the labels of any acne skin care system or anti aging skin care
product before you buy it because it claims to be organic. Finding the best skin
care product is not hard, but be sure to do your research when you are looking
for the best skin care product for you.Keep YOURSELF looking and feeling great

[^_^] Can You Go Organic For Everything?

Organic meat. Organic vegetables. Organic pet food. Organic cosmetics. Organic
moisturizer. Where does it end? Or rather, can everything be organic for your
benefit? The answer to this is quite tricky. It is an extremely general question,
so let us focus first on skin care and cosmetics products, in which case the
general answer is yes.On the one hand, yes, you can find just about everything
you need for your skin and beauty needs in the area of organic ingredients.
Companies have formulated sunscreen with organic materials, products to help
calm oily skin, ease dry skin, and prevent acne. Companies have worked overtime
to bring you organic products, so the minute they figure it out, they bring it
to you and let you do with it as you wish. The catch is that you have to find
legitimate companies for your organic needs. With few to no regulations on
organic products, many places have gone overboard and smacked a label on an item
that may have no organic ingredients at all, or maybe just one to make sure they
cannot get in trouble for false claims or advertising. There are groups out there
who have banded together to help sort out the good companies from the false
ones, doing what they can to help the baffled consumer pick out appropriate
products. Even then you may have to do some research in order to make sure the
group giving their stamp of approval to a company is legitimate in itself. It is
a sad thing that in this world you have to do so much work yourself just to make
sure if one small bottle of eye cream is good or if it is a joke, but it is
necessary so you might as well understand what must be done on your part. The
second available answer is no. With organic products and asking this sort of
question, do not be confused; different people have different ideas on what is
organic and what is not. Some people consider a product made entirely out of
organic ingredients to be organic. If there are any synthetics whatsoever in the
product, then it is not. Overall, yes, products out there for all various uses
can be organic, but that is only if you are willing to consider that these
products will have other synthetics with them.If you are seeking 100 percent
organic products, then no, you will not have a very good chance at finding a
great many. If you want to find an organic astringent, then just use cold water
or straight witch hazel that has not been altered or chemically toyed with in
any way. Otherwise, you will have to turn to a man made product, and many of
these are going to have some synthetic organic ingredients in it. What
constitutes as organic all depends upon your personal views, as there is no
concrete organic definition that people and companies are willing to agree
on.You should not let this fact worry you. Should you be one of the people out
there searching for complete and utter 100 percent organic products, then you
would do well to simply look up recipes and make your own garden; here is
wishing you luck with that. Synthetics are not necessarily bad for you.In fact,
many of them are more effective than the actual organic ingredients. Scientists
these days are much more careful about their testing of new items and are sure
to give out as much information possible; a bad product will catch the company
and its employees a lot of flack, something the company definitely does not
want. Synthetics combined with organics are meant to help your skin and make for
better products, thus better results for you.Know what you are looking for in a
product and even if a product that has the majority of its ingredients made up
of organics happens to contain a few synthetics, do not shy away. Instead, see
what possibilities it may have, as they might be just what you were looking
for.Keep YOURSELF looking and feeling great with these great FREE Beauty Tips

[^_^] Has Organic Become Another Word For Chemical?

The term organic is starting to become a trend. More and more companies are
labeling their products as being natural or deriving from all natural
substances. Regardless whether you are someone who wants to play an active role
in environmental awareness, you want to protect your face from harsh chemicals,
or you have sensitive skin, you should be able to recognize the truth from the
fiction that are being placed on labels. The primary concern of any consumer that
is trying to purchase organic skin care products should be that there is no
regulation as far as putting organic on a label. Many skin care companies that
claim to be organic friendly actually put carbon in the mix of their products.
So, how can you tell what your skin care line really has in its ingredients? You
should always check the labels before you purchase any organic skin care
product. If you see that a product is organically certified, it means that they
have passed regulations of the food and certified organic standards. Make sure
that the product you are buying does not contain any pesticides or synthetic
products on the label. There are many companies who bet on the fact that the
consumer will not take the time to read the label and they will buy their
product based on the front title of the product. Do not be lazy and think that
reading a label is going to take a long time.Once you know what to look for, you
will be scanning labels left and right in a matter of seconds. Some of the
common things to look for on the ingredients listing for organic products are
the first four ingredients. The first four ingredients, by law, make up most of
the product. You should also beware of products that list water for one of its
first ingredients because that will mean that the product is mainly water and
little else. Also, you should check to see if you recognize the words. The key to
organic is that it is natural, so if you do not recognize any of the first few
words, they are probably synthetic. Lastly, it would not take much time to print
out a short list of the most common synthetics and pesticides found in beauty
products on your home search engine. You could print out the list, laminate it,
and then keep it handy when you are shopping for your beauty regime. You can also
go to the most of all natural extremes and try your own concoctions at home.
There is nothing like using a mask of mayonnaise and Vaseline in order to put
some moisture into your dry and flaky skin. Witch Hazel mixed with tea tree oil
and Aloe Vera will make a great cleanser for the face while drying up any acne
that may be lingering. You can also mix some sea salt and Vaseline for a great
exfoliate. I learned a great trick from my great grandmother that has been
passed down for generations in my family. They are a mixture of herbs that are
sold in a box at health food stores. You take a couple of tablespoons of the
herbs and boil them in a pot of hot water. After they have boiled for a good
five minutes, drape a towel over your head and let the steam from the pot open
up all of the pores on your face. You will be disgusted and amazed at the stuff
that will come out of your dirty pores, and you will have instant results that
cost less than any facial. Now that is what you call organic.Keep YOURSELF

[^_^] Switching to Organic Skincare and Cosmetics

More and more men and women looking for organic skincare alternatives. In the
past when someone mentioned ?organic?, the first thing to enter the mind was
hippies in the sixties protesting about the need for organic food.Organic food
is now a widely accepted lifestyle choice and the trend toward organic skincare
is growing. Every day, more people are increasingly moving towards organic
skincare products in addition to food. What we put on our body is just as
important as what we put into it.Think of all the patches available for weight
loss, quitting smoking etc, they all work by absorption through our skin. Since
our personal care is also absorbed through the skin, so to do the chemicals that
are carried in the personal care items. Organic skincare products work
effectively without all of the chemicals, which can cause health problems. As
with organic food products, organic skincare products come from all natural
ingredients and contain no harmful chemicals.Organic skin care should be made
from ingredients certified to organic food industry standards. Each country has
its own measure and regulatory agency on the production of anything that
proclaims to be organic. If a product proclaims itself to be organic, it must
contain all organic products. However, if a products packaging says it is simply
?organic? it can contain up to 5% of material that would be considered
non-organic. It doesn?t sound like much and granted most people don?t mind.
However, 5% IS 5% and this can make all the difference to some. Most of the dyes
and chemicals found in non-organic cosmetics and skincare products are dangerous
and potentially carcinogenic. Organic skincare products do the same thing, but
without these harmful chemicals. You can find organic skincare products that ?
exfoliate, cleanse, condition, nourish the skin, hydrate the skin, moisturise
and purify the skinTo be certified organic, products including organic skincare
must be made from materials that are grown on soil that has been certified as
pesticide-free for at least 3 years. Organic skincare products are made without:
Synthetic pesticides, Insecticides, Herbicides, fungicides, hormones and

[^_^] Organic Facial Cleansers Are Fast Becoming A Popular Way To Achieve Beauty Purification

Perhaps you spend a lot of time taking advantage of today's popular world of
online shopping. Hey, what's not to like? You don't have to race for a parking
space, there's no two mile long lines to battle at the checkout and if you're
lucky, you might just save a buck. On the downside, if you have not made any
recent trips to the local Super Mall of America, you may not know be familiar
with the floral garden of skin care/beauty purification/make-up centers popping
up all over the mall-leaving you desperately out of the loop.Let's get you up to
speed. All of these establisment featured a different approach, but they are all
united in their common goal to get to your skin. Skin care is one of the fastest
growing divisions of the booming beauty industry and organic facial cleansers
are becoming very popular.Dangers of Skin Care ProductsLet's put it this way,
people apply as many as 200 chemicals a day to the skin-and it isn't by choice.
Many skin care products contain cancer causing ingredients and other elements
that can aggravate pre-existing skin conditions, like eczema and skin allergies.
Sixty percent of those 200 chemicals enter the bloodstream. The next time you're
in the bathroom and looking for something to read-use your imagination-pick up
the lotion bottle. You'll find that most contains lanolin. Lanolin derives from
sheep's wool, and sheep's wool can be infested with pesticides - you do the
math. Then there are the fragrances and preservatives in skin care products,
those can actually cause skin allergies. The problem with fragrances,
preservatives and mainstream skin care is the fact that most are made by
synthetic chemicals. If you aren't acquainted with the concept of synthetic,
just think synthetic. Companies aren't required to list to the ingredients of
fragrances. If you think you're skin care products may be causing skin allergies,
be on the lookout for these symptoms:Imflammed skin Watery eyes Nausea
Depression Memory lapsesJust because popular culture has been flooded with
images of mainstream skin care, does not mean that those are your only options.
Actually, the quest to find a organic facial cleanser is safe and can take a
dozen years off of your face.Organic Skin CareThink of organic skin care as
plastic surgery in a bottle, or canister depending on the product. Organic
facial cleansers eliminates toxins through a exfoliation process using the
pores. Exfoliation is important because it keeps pores as an open window. See
the pores are the exit route for the skin's toxins. Now if that exit is closed
those stubborn toxins will just sit there until you decide to open the door. The
end result? Clogged pores. That's just one of the benefits of using an organic
facial cleanser. In addition, following an organic skin care regime over time
can get rid of wrinkles, breakouts and those double bags under your eyes,
affectionately known as luggage. Organic skin care products, which consist of
cosmetics, perfume and cleansers, are grown in locations with rich soil, and
near lots of plants, flowers and oil, the kind of place you'd like to raise a
family.Organic skin care is just as versatile as another skin care line, just
with some additional benefits, like olive oil, lavender and olive oil. A strong
regime of organic skin care is currently available for all skin types:Normal
Skin: Smooth and without breakouts. Dry: Needs lots of moisture. Oliy: Clogged
pores, shine and breakouts. Sensative Skin: Prone to irritationProtecting the
skin is also important because of its various functions - blood, sweat, sebum
and lymphs, for instance. Earth's Essential Cream is an organic facial cleanser
for men and women that, like other organic products, is on the forefront of
beautiful innovation. Earth's Essential creates radiance when used twice a
day. When used during the day, Earth's Essential protects against the
environment. At night, the cream softens, making the skin smooth, firmer and
almost ageless. It may have something to do with the almond oil and organic aloe
vera. Then again, organic skin care products are always made of the best stuff
on Earth-just like Snapple. For more information on looking better using vitamins

[^_^] Is Organic Skincare Really Better For You?

In this day and age we are becoming more and more obsessed with organic
products. Organic food is all the rage, and now organic beauty products are also
taking a center stage. So just how good are these products for us? Are they
really that much different from ordinary products? The Benefits of Organic Skin
CareWith so many chemicals in ordinary skin care products, it is shocking to
think that we plaster our skin with creams and lotions every single day, yet we
do not know what is in them. We have an amazing sense of trust in the
manufacturers of skin care products, yet it seems that we are really being let
down in a big way!Ordinary products contain chemicals such as alcohol and lead.
Alcohol is extremely drying on the skin and it can cause all kinds of problems,
yet we spread it onto the skin without much thought. However, some people are
seeing the light and more and more of us are turning to the benefits of natural
products. Below are a few benefits of using organic products over ordinary,
chemical-packed ones:Gentle Enough For Even Sensitive SkinAs organic products
are made form natural ingredients, they are often really good for people who
suffer from sensitive skin. However, there are some natural chemicals included
in organic products so you should always see if you are allergic to any of the
ingredients before trying them. What You See is What You GetWith organic products
you know exactly what you are getting. There are no hidden downsides and you can
rest assured that you are using the best ingredients for your skin. They Do Not
Always Have to be More ExpensiveAlthough organic products are generally more
expensive than ordinary ones, as they mainly use natural ingredients, it is
possible to create some of your own recipes. This is not really expensive, and
you are getting the bets of both worlds as you get to try out natural products,
and you know exactly what is going into them.Homemade Organic Skin CareAll you
sometimes need to make your own organic skin care products is to open your
kitchen cupboard. There are plenty of ingredients there which can help to give
you beautiful, glowing skin the natural way!For example, baking soda is great
rubbed onto the skin once a week whilst you are in the shower. It can also be
good to remove blackheads. If you have oily skin, fresh tomatoes are great for
treating the oily areas of your face. However, some people may be allergic to
the tomato juice, so always test on your arm before trying it on the
face.Vinegar is also another one of natures miracles. Apparently it works
wonders on smelly armpits and feet. All you do is mix 50% of vinegar and 50%
water, and use instead of your ordinary deodorant. Vinegar is also good for
athletes foot and if you give your feet a vinegar bath every day for a week, the
condition usually clears up pretty well.If you fancy making your own face mask,
mixing egg yolk with honey often makes a good one. Simply leave it on the skin
for 20 minutes and then rinse it off. This is great for people with sensitive
skin, though the honey can cause a tingling sensation. If this happens to you it
is possible to use only the egg yolk.Overall, home made organic skin care
products may be a little messier sometimes and they may not smell as nice as
ordinary products, but at least you know what you are getting. Your skin really
will love you for it, and your purse will too!Keep YOURSELF looking great with

[^_^] The Best Organic Omega 3 Oils

If you had the knowledge that the most imperative essential fatty acid was DHA
it would likely seem unreal because it just appears to be a set of initials with
no meaning. However, to explain it simply, DHA is nothing more than an
essential fatty acid that is imperative in promoting good health. It is one of
three fatty acids that are found in fish oil, the other two being EPA and ALA
and it is clear that the best organic omega 3 oils are the ones that are high in
DHA and as well fish that are in the location where the fish is harvested from
an unpolluted source.Scientists and research scientists believe it alike that
DHA is present in the brain and more than half of the brain mass is made of up
of these essential fats and DHA tops the scales, weighing in at more than half
of that mass. Suffice to say, the best omega 3 oil is clearly one of the
organic omega 3 oils that are on the market today however, these products should
be labeled pharmaceutical grade.Where Do the Best Organic Omega 3 Oils Come
From? The best organic omega 3 oils that contain high levels of DHA as well as
other fatty acids can come from a variety of places and just as many different
kinds of fish however, it is best to do some research and find out which fish
has the highest content of DHA. For example, DHA can be resourced from herring,
quite often salmon, mackerel and hoki to harvest the best organic omega 3 oils
and they are all relatively high in DHA fish oil content.Of all available fish
to harvest the best organic omega 3 oils from are found to be the hoki fish and
it ranks number one for the content levels of DHA. This fish is full with DHA
fish oil and as luck would have it, it thrives in the waters off the shores of
New Zealand where the water is very deep, cold and the hoki live best in such
waters, and have found to provide the highest levels of DHA fish oil than any
others. The Best Organic Omega 3 Oils are the Safe Omega 3 OilsYou should be
incredibly knowledgeable when choosing the best organic omega 3 oils and there
are a few rather important things to know before purchasing this supplement.
There are some products on the market that use fish that are bred and harvested
in highly polluted areas as a result of our highly toxic environment and are not
considered to be any of the best organic omega 3 oils. These toxins and
pollutants show up in abundance in our oceans and rivers and inevitably, in the
fish that are harvested to manufacture DHA fish oil supplements.Keep in mind
that a process called ?molecular distillation? is the only known process to
remove all toxins and pollutants from the best organic omega 3 oils and retain
all the essential fatty acids that the body needs. We have found a pure
pharmaceutical grade, molecularly distilled fish oil product that is naturally
high in DHA and EPA.Coming from the Hoki Fish Located on the pristine southern

[^_^] What Is Actually Organic Whole Food Vitamin Supplement?

As more and more people beginning to live a a hectic lifestyle, with millions
and millions of people spending billions and billions of dollars on vitamin
supplements every stage. In just 2004 to 2007, more than $20.6 billion dollars
was spent on this phenomenon. Many people think they are preventing heart
disease or cancer by popping every vitamin supplement they can get their hands
on. What many fail to realize, however, is that with the water soluble vitamins
(B vitamins and vitamin C), whatever is not used is eliminated each day.
Stocking up on these vitamins therefore, is not possible. As mentioned, as more
people do not have time for a healthy and balanced diet. Processed foods fail to
ensure the daily ratio of vitamins necessary for keeping healthy. Given the
highly polluted environment we live in and all the unhealthy food we consume, an
organic food supplement can significantly improve our state of health. Why we
need to increase our organic whole food vitamin supplement intake? The reason is
simply that in the modern society of ours, very few people follow a correct diet
and have 6-8 servings of whole food, such as grains, seeds, nuts and vegetables,
every day. It seems like the present trend is consuming processed food and
taking synthetic vitamins to supplement your diet. However, this is not the best
way to secure a balanced diet and it can even have bad long-term effects on your
health. You could increase your daily intake of organic whole food health
supplement instead. Eating vitamin and mineral-rich food, such as nuts, whole
grains and seeds are a good way of completing your diet with natural vitamins,
enzymes and minerals. The difference between synthetic vitamins vs organic health
supplementsMost vitamin supplements you can purchase today are made from
synthetic ingredients. These are chemical substances which have been produced in
laboratories to fake the molecular structure of natural vitamins.Your body is
built to absorb nutritional substances from food. Therefore, most health care
professionals recommend an organic health food supplement and taking your daily
vitamins from whole food, not synthetics supplements.Earth minerals vs
homeopathic minerals:Commercial supplements aimed to increase your vitamin and
mineral intake use minerals such as calcium carbonate, calcium citrate and other
derivatives, derived from sea shells, rocks or coral. On the other hand, an
organic vitamin supplement contains a mineral-rich food source along with
homeopathic mineral ingredients. All these vitamins are much easier to absorb
and assimilate by the human body. What are the benefits of an organic health
supplements?1) These supplements have no synthetic or isolate ingredients. 2)
They contain only complete whole food vitamins. 3) These supplements do not have
any sea shell, rock or coral derived minerals. 4) Organic whole food vitamin
supplements include homeopathic minerals. 5) They increase the intake of whole
foods, such as seeds, nuts and grains. 6) They do not include any chemical,
additive or synthetic ingredients. 7) They have a lacto-vegetarian formula. In
conclusion, an organic whole food vitamin supplement can be very effective in
ensuring a healthy diet and prevent vitamin deficiencies, alongside all the
symptoms that come along. After knowing what is actually organic whole food
health supplements, and alongside this little information may be enough for you
to choose your supplements more carefully and to consume more or less. Earlier
you are going to swallow any type of vitamin health food, you need to first
consult your doctor. However, many people sometimes tend to forget the quality
and quantity of popping these supplements, without realizing the harmful effects
of over-consumption it, level while various kinds of these can treat chronic

[^_^] Organic-Is It A Lifestyle Or Health Choice?

On the news this morning there was a debate about whether organic produce is
any safer than the modern technology used on today's inorganic farms. It was
claimed if you buy local, fresh produce from the farmers markets it would have
the same taste and flavour as the mostly imported organic produce found in our
supermarkets. It was agreed organic produce is more expensive than inorganic and
farmers require much more land to produce their crops, so the question wasIs
organic a lifestyle or a health choice?Well let's see -The organic movement
really began in the 1960's with the publication of a report by Rachel Carson
called the Silent Spring. Before I go into that I'll back track a bit to the
1940's.It was the end of the Second World War which saw the beginning of the
chemical revolution. Weapons grade chemicals and nitrates suddenly found
themselves part of strong fertilizers and nerve gas became pesticide. Bugs
disappeared, crops flourished.Since then, however the Environment Protection
Agency has gone on to approve over 100,000 synthetic chemicals.WHY?Most of these
man made toxins have never been tested for long term health effects either
individually or in combination. However they seep into our soil, pollute our
rivers and waterways and irrevocably change the ecosystems. You'll find them in
your food, drink, household products, furniture, clothing, toiletries,
cosmetics, your water and especially in the air you breathe.Apparently food is
the greatest source of toxic chemicals and recently the independent Environment
Working Group compiled a list of the most contaminated fruit and vegetables.
They suggested by eliminating the top twelve, pesticide exposure could be
reduced by 90%. The culprits werepeaches apples nectarines strawberries cherries
pears imported grapes sweetball peppers celery spinach lettuce potatoes.
Seemingly washing them doesn't help much either. The average apple apparently
has 110 chemicals on it by the time you want to take a bite and even if you were
to wash it carefully there would still be between 20 and 30 chemicals on the
skin.Of course, you could always discard the skins but I was always taught that
part contained the most vitamins and besides how do you skin a lettuce? The
really scary thing which Rachel Carson highlighted was the way the toxins used
in fertilisers and pesticides increase as they pass through the food chain. It's
a process called bio-magnification and means that whatever is at the top of the
food chain comes off worst.Who is at the top of most food chains? - YOU!
Everyday we breathe in toxic chemicals especially when using household and
personal care products. Spray cans are very handy but not very accurate. As they
are usually used around the head area the very tiny particles easily access the
body through the mouth and nose. It's hardly surprising there has been such a
marked increase in asthma.Your skin is another route for toxic chemicals and
will absorb 60% of whatever you put on it. It's not very selective either. You
need to bear that in mind when you put on your creams, lotions and potions
especially as only 11% of the 10,500 synthetic chemicals used in the personal
care and toiletries industry have ever been assessed for safety.Your carpets and
furniture contain toxic chemicals and your electric appliances emit electro
magnetic fields. The clothes you wear, unless organic contain a cocktail of
chemicals by way of fertilisers, pesticides, bleaches and dyes.I've read that to
make one cotton tee-shirt about 160 grams of toxic chemicals must be used and
the Environment Protection Agency have said at least half of them are possible
or known carcinogens.Over time more and more people are suffering from the build
up of synthetic chemicals.Apparently each of us will be exposed to 50,000
chemical agents in our lifetime and will accumulate at least 500 toxic compounds
inside us. Obviously lifestyle and occupation will play a role but for many
toxin avoidance is impossible. Just consider the farmers on the cotton
plantations. There are now 200 different types of cancer and most scientists
agree 80% of them are caused by toxic synthetic chemicals.Clearly we are now
fighting another war - a health war.The only way to avoid as many chemicals as
possible is to buy organic, specifically "certified organic". That way you have
an independent third party guarantee of purity.Admittedly they are more
expensive but the saving on health is immense, not to mention the benefit to the
planet. Poisoning is seriously affecting our soil, and wildlife. So what do you
think? Is organic a lifestyle or health choice?I'll leave YOU to decide but just
remember who is at the top of the food chain. For details of SAFE organic

[^_^] Exploring The Health Benefits Of Natural And Organic Food

One look to the grocery store shelves will tell the story of a society in
search of the newest food that will take the weight off, increase energy, and
maximize health. It seems that every year we are bombarded with a new health
craze that guarantees us speedy results along an easy path. But, as many of us
have come to realize the hard way, it remains the greatest truth of all that
eating a balanced, healthy diet is the only way to achieve authentic health. It
seems fitting therefore, that now, more than ever, we are discovering the health
benefits of natural and organic food.Doctors have long advised that diet ? more
than anything ? plays the largest role in our health and longevity. In
accordance, there has been a gradual shift from food products high in saturated
fat, preservatives, and sugar to whole foods such as fresh fruits and
vegetables, complex carbohydrates, and lean protein. But taking this a step
forward is the shift to natural and organic food ? that food that is grown and
raised without the addition of chemicals, hormones, and pesticides. Many think
that because they are eating fresh fruit and vegetables they are making the
healthiest choice. But if these fruits and vegetables have been chemically
altered then you are now exposing yourself to a bevy of alien substances. While
these chemicals are used quite regularly in traditional farming practices, they
have not been studied thoroughly enough to know of their long lasting impact on
the human body. Therefore, a switch to natural and organic food seems to be the
wisest choice for our health. Also falling under the definition of natural and
organic food is organic meat and dairy. Livestock that is raised within organic
guidelines are given only organic feed and are not subjected to any chemicals or
hormones. Further, dairy cows that are traditionally given hormones to speed
growth and increase milk production are chemical-free under natural and organic
food guidelines. The commitment to eating only natural and organic food minimizes
your body?s exposure to chemicals and shows an even greater commitment to the
environment as we show our support to farmers who don?t contaminate the earth
with chemical cocktails. For easy to understand, in depth information about
organic food visit our ezGuide 2 Organic Food.

[^_^] Organic Food Home Delivery - Healthy Living Right To Your Front Door

The shift in farming practices all over the world has given rise to a
popularity of organic food previously unseen. Suddenly, those who were content
to just ?eat healthy? are now committed to eating ?green.? And for those who are
enthusiastic and passionate about the benefits of eating organically ? its
enormous health benefits and environmentally friendly farming practices ?
there?s no length they won?t go to maintain an organic diet. Unfortunately,
going organic isn?t necessarily the easiest of feats. While some of us have
access to a bevy of fresh markets and whole food stores rich in organic choices,
others are limited in their shopping options. Luckily, the popularity
surrounding organic food has spawned an equally attractive counterpart ? the
organic food home delivery.Organic food home delivery brings a variety of
organic products straight to the consumer?s door. Everything from organic fruits
and vegetables to organically raised meat and poultry can now be home delivered.
In this way, an organic food devotee who lives in a small town in the Midwest

organic food enthusiasts? way of leveling the playing field so that these
specially grown products can gain a foothold and gradually replace all
traditional products. Organic food home delivery allows consumers to
conveniently partake in a lifestyle of eating food and using products that are
chemical free. The reduction ? and possible future elimination ? of these
chemicals could have an unforeseen impact on our health and on the
environment. Those interested in organic food home delivery can research it in a
number of ways. Today, there is a growing population of organic grocers who ? in
an effort to make their products convenient and accessible and thereby expand
their customer base ? offer organic food home delivery; all it takes is a phone

[^_^] The Organic Debate Continues

Scientific evidence or not, if we go back thousands of years when man was still
trying to understand his own place on earth, Nature took care of everything.
There were no synthetic chemicals, fertilizers or any of the thousands of
chemicals known to man today. The World existed within its own massive
permacultured environment.Everything supported something else in its chain. The
rain watered the ground, Photosynthesis produced the grass, the bovine ate the
grass and excreted the fertilizer that fed the grass making it grow stronger,
quicker and more nutritious.Organic Gardening is not something new. It's how
life began, it's simply duplicating in a Micro-climate what the world has been
doing naturally since the beginning of time. The debate about whether Organic
Fruit & Vegetables are or aren't better for us is never ending. There will
always be people who say they are experts at science or chemistry and will
continually proclaim that chemicals are perfectly safe at "certain" levels. On
the other hand, Organic consumers will say that nature did not produce the
chemicals that are applied to our plants and soil. They will say that everything
in the world supports itself within its own environment an there is no reason to
produce or apply synthetic chemicals.Scientists will tell us it is purely
coincidence that Cancer rates have increased at the same rate and time scale as
the introduction of Chemicals for Agricultural use.But the debate as to whether
Organic Food is actually better for us is somehow clouding the importance of the
Environmental side of the debate. In the end, there is probably an equal amount
of nutrition in organic products as compared to non-organic products. The
comparitive difference comes from the source of the nutrition and the way in
which the body handles the disposal of waste. Finally, I can not see myself
putting my family at risk of cancer in the future by putting them in contact
with potentially carconogenic substances today.Eric J. Smith is an Organic

[^_^] The Benefits Of Organic Food

The number of reports of adverse health effects from the food we eat seem to be
increasing each day. Topics being discussed include GM (genetically modified)
foods, diseases caused from eating beef, and concerns as to whether pesticides
and other chemicals used on food might cause cancer. Just about everyone is
concerned with their own health and the health of their family. It is little
wonder that an increasing number of people are considering organic food as a
viable alternative. Many proponents say that organic food tastes better.
However, this is only one of the many benefits. Other benefits relate to health,
the environment and the issue of sustainability.Research suggests that an
excessive use of chemicals in our food may be linked with health problems
including those that can affect the development of children. Non-organic fruit
and vegetables are likely to have been treated with pesticides and insecticides
while animals may be treated with antibiotics and other medications such as
growth hormones. Organic farming tries to eliminate or at least significantly
decrease the chances of food coming into contact with such chemicals. In order
to do this, organic farmers try to use fertile soils (containing much needed
nutrients) rather than the use of fertilizers. Crop rotation is used so that the
soil doesn't continue to be depleted. Chemical pesticides are replaced with
naturally occurring substances and with the use of techniques such as companion
planting. Animals are treated with more respect with freedom to move rather than
being force-fed while in tiny cages. These types of living conditions lead to
the spread of disease which is then treated with antibiotics.Such practices not
only assist with our health they also assist with protecting the planet.
Bio-diversity is encouraged and the use of chemicals which also affect native
flora and fauna is much reduced. Overall, organic farming is likely to be more
sustainable in the longer term as efforts are made to replenish the soil by
encouraging rather than killing beneficial insects and micro-organisms.One of
the biggest problems relating to organic foods is the cost. They can be
considerably more expensive to buy. However, that is slowly changing as demand
is increasing. Supermarkets are gradually devoting more and more of their
much-prized shelf space to organic food. If you make the choice to buy at least
some organic food you will be assisting in the process of increasing the demand
which will hopefully lead to increased supply and lower prices. In turn, this
may help protect your family and the planet.Greg Smithers is concerned about the
health of his family and is an advocate for organic food. For advice and
inspiration about organic food he visits the Veggie Lady website -

[^_^] Organic Grown Foods

Organically grown foods can provide sufficient minerals to our diets. Organic
foods include our whole-wheat flour, steel-cut oats, unpolished rice, and many
other organic foods contain many times more vital minerals than refined
counterparts do. Honey, maple syrup, dried fruits, as well as other healthy
organic dishes can provide vital minerals as well as iron and copper, which are
saturated with minerals. Our body is made up of proteins, minerals, acids, fats
and so on. Our body expects natural, organic nutrients so that we can live
healthier. Many of the fabricated products on the market include harsh
ingredients. For instance, our meats now have additives that encourage us to eat
more. This can lead to health problems. Therefore, organic grown foods will
protect our body, since we do not have the additives in the foods that can cause
bad health, obesity and so on.Whole-wheat flour for example does not have
additives and it serves to heal us, restore our health and to encourage healthy
minds. This is because the flour is naturally and was purposely created and
grown by our creator.Minerals give us raw materials from natural resources.
These mineral deposits help to reserve our body and health. We need minerals to
support our bones, joints, cartilages and so on.Maple syrups come from the
deciduous trees that have winged seeds. These trees grow in northern temperate
areas. The leaves divide into appealing seeds, colorful and winged. Maple has a
natural sugar and flavor when processed. The sugars come from the saps.We also
get a natural or organic source of vitamins from homegrown foods. Leafy green
foods are a great source of fiber. Fibers are found in lettuce and cabbage. We
have a nice source of Vitamin A or Retinol. This organic need is in our natural
fat dairy, watercress, margarines, peppers, spinach, carrots, etc. Retinol is a
great source to help us with our night vision, bone growth, skin, and so on.
These products have precursors known as beta-carotene, which is a great organic
dish for fighting cancer. From organic nuts, we get Vitamin B1, and Vitamin B3.
Our body needs these nutrients to encourage metabolism by breaking carbohydrates
down. Certain organic nuts encourage healthy skin, nervous system growth, and
metabolism and so on. We also get these vitamins from organic breads, peanuts,
mushrooms, yeast extracts, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, bran, Brazilian
organic nuts, oatmeal and so on.Organic grown food is becoming popular. People
are starting to realize that our intended natural processes are the best
solution to maintain our health and youth. Eating organic means, using organic
soaps, shampoos, and so on will encourage a healthy life.#1 Natural Beauty
